10 Signs Someone Wants to Commit Suicide

One condition can be influenced by their environment. The higher the stress experienced then most likely it will be depression. This serious condition can trigger a person to commit suicide.

According to WebMD, the United States is only one of 10 people who get the treatment of depression. In addition, research conducted by The NationalInstitute of Mental Health (NIMH) reported that 16% of people who commit suicide because of depression. A lot of people over 65 years old.

However, if the symptoms of depression can be detected early, the risk of committing suicide can be stemmed. According to Barb Delker, a marriage and family therapist in Owensboro, Kentucky had 10 early signs of risk you can commit suicide, collected from the Third Age.

1. Talk that someone is going to hurt themselves.

2. Looking for a tool to commit suicide, for example a knife or a pill.

3. Stated that the death (suicide) is a proper case.

4. Feeling hopeless, always angry, and want revenge.

5. Reckless act or engage in activities that are at risk of damage.

6. Feeling stuck in a situation with no way out.

7. Start using illicit drugs.

8. Away from the environment, such as family, friends and community.

9. Always feel anxious, can not sleep or even sleep all the time.

10. Drastic mood swings.

If this happens to you or someone you know, you should immediately see a doctor or psychologist, to immediately get treatment.
