Centaurs, Half-Horse Man

In Greek mythology, Centaurs (Kéntauroi) is a composite race of creatures, part human and part horse, it is usually portrayed human form from head to waist, but the waist down intangible horse. The photo below, is not the result Archaeological discoveries, Centaur skeleton in the picture, is an artificial result of Skulls Unlimited International from the original human skeleton coupled with the Zebra framework.

Centaurs itself is just an imaginative creatures that first appeared in Greek mythology. Centaurs skeleton replica is owned by Skulls Unlimited International Inc., in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

They are descendants of Centaurus, the first centaur. Centaurus is Ixion's father was a man, ruler of Thessaly, who loved [affair] Goddess Hera, wife of Zeus. Zeus jealous and then create twinning of 'Hera of clouds and named Nephele.

Once they met, Ixion who consider Nephele is the goddess Hera and then having intercourse with him. Nephele then pregnant, and gave birth to a half human half horse creature which he later named Centaurus.

The most famous of the Centaur is Chiron, a friend of Heracles or Hercules [Chiron figure appeared in the movie Percy Jackson and the Olymipans]. He is one of a gentle and wise centaur, who was killed by Zeus and placed in the heavens as the constellation Centaurus star. Later adapted into Sagittarius zodiac.
