9 Nail Colors Indicate That You Are Suffering From Diseases

You can re-use the traditional way to look at a disease that lodged in your body.

A study says the color of the nails can be an alternative to find out what illness you have suffered before deciding to visit a doctor.

As quoted from Aolheath, everyone has a different nail types, ranging from the texture, color up to strength. And every type of nail has its own meaning, especially in relation to the type of disease.

FAAD of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), Andrea Cambio, MD says, nails are a window into a person's body. Through the nail can be seen the possibility of any disease that was to proceed in the body.

Well, peep the health condition 'through shape and color of your nails.

1. yellow nails 
One of the most common causes of yellow nails is a fungal infection. Worsening of the infection can make your nails do not grow healthy, thick, and brittle. Yellow nails also indicate more serious conditions such as severe thyroid disease, lung, diabetes, or psoriasis.

2. Swollen and bent nails 
If the skin around the nail looks red and swollen, this is known as an inflammation that indicate the presence of disease lupus and connective tissue disorders.

3. black line 
Consult immediately if there is a black line on your nails. This is related to the symptoms of melanoma, known as' skin cancer from the most dangerous kind.

4. nail biting 
Biting your nails may make just a habit. Yet this is very likely indicates excessive anxiety and need of treatment because obsessive-compulsive disorder. So, if you can not stop, it's worth discussing with your doctor.

5. bluish nails 
Bluish fingernails indicates the body is not getting enough oxygen. This indicates the presence of infection in the lungs such as pneumonia. If only slightly bluish on the lower end of the nail may also indicate diabetes.

6. pale nails 
Nails is pale tend to be white or sometimes related to aging. But there are four serious diseases which may be marked with pale nails, for example, anemia, heart failure, people with liver disease or poor nutrition as well.

7. white nails 
If the nail is white with a dark upper end indicates a problem with the liver such as hepatitis.

8. rough nails
 
If the surface is wrinkled and when pitted nails to make a sound, it is an early sign of psoriasis or inflammatory arthritis. Discoloration may appear red-brown.

9. cracked nails
 
Nail looks dry, brittle and often cracks have long been associated with thyroid disease. If the splitting and yellow, there is the possibility of a yeast infection.
