Final Fantasy Monsters (Summon) legend (part 1)

Final Fantasy (FF) is a masterpiece of Hironobu Sakaguchi. An RPG game popularized on December 18, 1987 in Japan, under the auspices of the Square-Enix. Then the game began to grow in America and around the world. Have a lot of FF series is produced by a variety of languages​​. With increasing time and interest, this game began launching in various series or titles to date. In FF there are monsters that are used to help the hero / player. The monsters are referred to as summon monsters, or also known by the name of Eidolon, Esper, Aeon, Guardian Force, Primal and Avatar. And here are the Summon Monster Legend on Final Fantasy :

1. Ifrit
Ifrit is "summon monster" that always appear in every Final Fantasy series. Ifrit is a genie that is strong enough to control the fire which can scorch the earth. His best of the most famous is Hell Fire. Described as a monster who has two horns, and there was a fire on the body.

Ifrit himself appeared in the literature of Islam as a genie from hell. Ifrit is a genie that is not eternal. It is said that if they are injured, the blood will burn 'his own body to death. Ifirit renowned as being the most arrogant because they are the first jinn sent to earth by God.


2. Shiva
Shiva is the Eidolon with the ice element. Shiva is described as a sexy woman with pale blue skin covered with a layer of ice. Diamond Dust is his best. Shiva in Final Fantasy gets a position with the element of ice because the Japanese word is pronounced with SHIVER.

Shiva is one of the supreme Hindu deity who symbolizes life and death. According to Hindu legend, Shiva get a blue skin from drinking the poison to save the world. Shiva is a god of double-sex (male and female), although more often portrayed as a man. 


3. Ramuh
Ramuh is elderly witch who brought the deadly force of lightning. The most typical stance is Judgment Bolt. Ramuh is a monster summon with thunder element.

Ramuh is mentioned in Hindu legendary essay written by Professor Valmiki, the Ramayana epic. Mentioned that Rama is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Merging the form of Rama and Vishnu is depicted as Ramuh (although not yet declared legally).


4. Odin

Odin comes from Norse mythology as the god of knowledge, poet, war and death. Has two brothers, Vili and Ve and give birth Thor. 5. Titan

6. Leviathan
One of the monsters that appear in every Final Fantasy series. Leviathan is a giant sea serpent which controls all living in the sea, the water element, and his favorite stance is Tidal Waves (Tsunami).

Leviathan is mentioned in the Bible as the largest sea creatures ever. There is no clear delineation of the actual form of Leviathan. In the era of sailing, Leviathan is described as a blue whale. 7. Bahamut

8. Sylph

9. Ashura
Ashura appears only in Final Fantasy IV as the queen of the Eidolon who lived with Leviathan in Feymarch. Asura is a summon monster restorer (healing) with the depiction of a woman who has three faces and six arms.

10. Goblin
Goblins usually appears as a lower level monsters against the hero. But in Final Fantasy IV, Goblin appears in the form of Eidolon as well. The main stance is that Goblin's Punch.

Goblin is a creature of the most famous legends almost universally. Portrayed as being evil or like to have a conflict with another living creature. In the western legend, Goblin 'is identical with the Brownie and Gnome (Dwarf compatriots). Generally, the Goblin has a small body with a moss green leather. 11. Cockatrice

12. Golem

13. Catoblepas
Catoblepas appearing in various Final Fantasy series, but with a a different form. However, the original portrayal of the Catoblepas is a big monster with a form like a pig. Catoblepas in Final Fantasy IV is realized as the Eidolon with the ability of the Evil Eye (petrifaction).

Catoblepas in Greek mythology, is a creature of legend that originated from Ethiopia. Described as an animal with body of a buffalo and wild boar's head is always facing down.
